Wife, sister, mom, step-mom and step-grandma. In my life‘s journey I was a child model , a waitress ,a playground monitor, a flight attendant and a registered nurse. As a medical missionary I used my nursing skills to satisfy both my spirit of philanthropy and my wanderlust working or volunteering in Chad, Sénégal, Tanzania, Congo Kinshasa, Australia, India and Canada.
I came to Peterborough in 2013 with my new partner Michel. We are both artists and purchased a lovely home with an adjacent art studio. Having been uprooted from Ottawa I put myself out there as “alone and lonely in Peterborough”… and soon found myself as volunteer cook for 20 monkeys at a primate sanctuary near Manila. I joined a choir, a local gym, a yoga group and a band where I study/play percussion as best I can. I was invited to join a book club The Pdots where I found my wonderful new tribe. A cancer survivor I am healthy and active at 75years of age and life is pretty great.
Oh! …. did I mention that I am also really good looking?
