Karen IrvineSlither Productions, A Taste Of the Kawarthas
I moved to Peterborough 15 years ago to marry the love of my life.
I have been riding motorcycles for 40 years, and am a founding member of the now disbanded Fallen Angels Motorcycle Club, a group of all women riders who raised money for charitable organizations doing what they love to do: Riding motorcycles.
When I lived in Brampton, I was a musician booking agent. Some of my clients were Carole Pope, Rough Trade, Teenage Head, Alannah Myles.
Once I moved to Peterborough, I gave it up and started a videography business with her husband called Slither Productions. I love to capture the light and personality by way of video. I also do corporate, web, real estate, wedding, music and marketing videos. I also had a 7 episode motocross show that ran across Canada and produced a pilot show called ‘Ghosts, Guitars & Rockstars’ which was a ghost hunting show with musician guest hosts.
My latest endeavor is called A Taste of the Kawarthas Food Tours. These include walking guided food tours in Peterborough, travelling food tours in the Kawarthas, and team building events.
If you see me guiding a tour in Peterborough, stop and say ‘Hi!’
My heart is with my husband and two great danes, Alice & Cooper.
