Audrey :   Yellow

Audrey :  Platypus

Carolyn :   Cat

4.  What school do you go to and what is your favorite subject ?

Audrey  :   St. Peters  – Biology

Carolyn :   St. Anne’s  –  Geography and Science

5.  What is something that you have done that you are really proud of ? 

Audrey :   Recipient of the Civic Jr. Athlete of the Year in Peterborough 2018

Winner and record holder of the Canadian Under 20 Indoor Track and Field Championships (2 years in a row)

Winner of the Under 20 10k Outdoor Canadian Track and Field Championships  (Race Walking is my sport)


Carolyn :    I am proud that I volunteer at the Humane Society in the Cat Socialization room, this role is important because it will allow cats to become better pets

I am a member of the social justice club at school and helped with coats for kids and I volunteer with the Alzheimer’s society and have helped provide food for the less fortunate

6.  What job would you like to do when you are done school ? 

Audrey :   I would like to be a Neo-Natal Nurse Practitioner and make it to the Olympics for Race Walking

Carolyn :   I would like to be a veterinarian or marine biologist

7.   What is one thing you would do to make the world a better place ? 

Audrey  : Reduce the use of single use plastics.  Practice nursing in Developing Countries

Carolyn  : I would like to find an end to poverty and hunger in our city and globally.

If I could I would like to see plastic removed from the oceans and the rehabilitation of coral reefs.  I would like to be more active in the banning of single use plastics like straws and  drink rings from use in our city and eventually Canada.   I hope that one day I can help in these projects because I would like to see a world that we can sustain our life and the lives  of other creatures that are struggling to survive.
